Bafana Bafana Group A fixtures and SAST times
- Mexico v South Africa: Thursday 11 June, 21:00 SAST, Mexico City Stadium. Result: Mexico won 2-0.
- Czechia v South Africa: Thursday 18 June, 18:00 SAST, Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta.
- South Africa v South Korea: Thursday 25 June, 03:00 SAST, Estadio BBVA, Monterrey.

What Bafana need to reach the Round of 32
The top two in Group A advance. The eight best third placed teams across the 12 groups also go through, so a strong third place can still be enough. After a 2-0 opening defeat to Mexico, South Africa need points against Czechia and South Korea. The format guide sets out the third place rule.
