Disney On Ice returns to South Africa for the winter school holidays with Mickey’s Search Party, an adventure featuring world-class skating, high-flying acrobatics and immersive special effects across three major venues.
The show opens in Pretoria at SunBet Arena, Time Square on Saturday, 27 June through Sunday, 5 July 2026. It then moves to Grand Arena, GrandWest in Cape Town from Friday, 10 July to Sunday, 19 July, before concluding at Durban International Convention Centre Arena from Friday, 24 July to Sunday, 26 July 2026.
The Show
Mickey Mouse and his friends search for Tinker Bell through colourful worlds featuring characters from Coco, Moana, Frozen, Aladdin, Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. Stitch makes his Disney On Ice South Africa debut with mischievous surprises throughout the show.
Production Technology
The production brings cutting-edge technology to South African audiences. The ice surface spans 35 metres long and 18 metres wide. The show uses 173 costumes with changes occurring in under 30 seconds. The largest prop weighs 450kg while set pieces reach 11 metres high.
Lighting design features 221 fixtures with 185 moveable units. Twelve projectors create immersive worlds and 100 speaker groups deliver 200,000 watts of sound power. Fifteen fully packed trucks transport the entire production to each venue.

Produced by Feld Entertainment and brought to South Africa by Showtime Management in association with FNB, Mickey’s Search Party offers family entertainment during the school holiday period. The show features spectacular special effects, dazzling costumes and beloved Disney characters and stories.

Tickets from R200 to R595 are available at Ticketmaster.co.za or Showtime.co.za. Every person, regardless of age, requires a purchased ticket. Babes in arms and children under two sitting on a parent’s lap require a Babes in Arms ticket at R100.
