SASSA Disability Grant June 2026: payment date confirmed

The SASSA Disability Grant June 2026 payment date is confirmed for Wednesday, 3 June 2026 under the official 2026/27 SASSA payment schedule released in March.

Payment amount

Following the April 2026 increase of R80, Disability Grant beneficiaries now receive R2 400 per month. The Care Dependency Grant pays the same amount and is paid on the same day.

Where the date falls in the cycle

Disability grants pay on the second day of the monthly cycle, after Older Persons grants on 2 June and before children’s grants on 4 June. Grants under review pay on the exceptions date of 5 June.

If your June 2026 payment is missing

Wait one to two business days after the payment date for banking processing. If your grant is still missing, call SASSA on 0800 60 10 11, send a WhatsApp to 082 046 8553, or visit your nearest SASSA office with your South African ID document.
