The SASSA payment dates July 2026 follow the same staggered three day cycle the agency uses each month. Older Persons grants are paid first, then Disability grants, then Children’s grants. The schedule for the 2026/2027 financial year was approved by National Treasury on 20 March 2026.
SASSA payment dates July 2026 for all grants
Permanent grants are paid over three working days in the first week of July. The confirmed dates are:
- Older Persons Grant and War Veterans Grant: Thursday 2 July 2026
- Disability Grant and Care Dependency Grant: Friday 3 July 2026
- Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant and Grant-in-Aid: Monday 6 July 2026
Children’s grants fall on Monday 6 July because the fourth and fifth of July are a weekend. SASSA does not pay on weekends, so the date moves to the next working day. Money stays in your account after the pay date, so there is no need to withdraw it all at once.
When is the SRD R370 paid in July 2026
The SRD R370 grant does not follow the three day cycle. It is paid later in the month, in individual batches from around the third week of July onwards. There is no single fixed date. Each approved applicant receives a personal pay date, which you can confirm on your status page.
What to do if your grant is late
If your payment does not reflect on the expected date, wait two to three working days, check that your banking details are correct, then call the SASSA helpline on 0800 60 10 11 or visit your nearest office.
