JOHANNESBURG. – The Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label has joined the local bakkie range, adding a blacked-out styling derivative to Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ premium pick-up line-up.
Based on the Amarok Style, the Dark Label is offered with a choice of two engines: the 2.0 TDI producing 125kW and the 3.0 TDI V6 delivering 184kW. Both send power to all four wheels through the 4MOTION system.
What sets the Dark Label apart
The derivative is distinguished by 20-inch matt black alloy wheels, a black front apron and radiator grille, dark privacy glazing, black exterior mirrors and door handles, and a matte black styling bar. Inside, it features dark ArtVelours seats, black door panels and an Ebony Black headliner, along with a leather steering wheel carrying the Dark Label emblem.
Volkswagen Amarok Dark Label pricing
The Amarok 2.0 TDI Dark Label is priced at R931 600, while the 3.0 TDI V6 Dark Label costs R1 111 500. Both figures include VAT and emissions tax. The Amarok carries a standard five-year/150 000 km warranty and a five-year/100 000 km maintenance plan.
