The Devil Wears Prada 2 has earned more than $433 million worldwide after just two weekends in cinemas, comfortably outperforming its $100 million production budget and already surpassing the lifetime global haul of the 2006 original.

Sequel outpaces the original
Disney’s 20th Century Studios sequel, which reunites Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, has grossed $144 million domestically and $288 million internationally. The original film closed its theatrical run on $326 million worldwide.
The sequel opened to $77 million in North America, the third-biggest domestic debut of 2026 and the largest opening weekend of Meryl Streep’s career.
Top international markets
Variety reports that the United Kingdom and Italy are the strongest overseas markets at $28 million each, followed by Brazil at $22 million and Mexico at $20 million. The film held the number one spot for a second consecutive weekend, beating the debut of Mortal Kombat II.
