The FlySafair birthday sale 2026 goes live today at 9am, with 50 000 one-way domestic seats from R12. The 12th-birthday promotion runs only on flysafair.co.za and covers travel between 6 May and 30 November 2026 on selected domestic routes.

How the FlySafair birthday sale 2026 works
A virtual Waiting Room opens at 9am and randomly selects customers to enter the booking site. Once selected you get a 10-minute window to complete the booking before being returned to the queue. Logging in early offers no advantage. Airport taxes and fuel surcharges sit on top of the R12 base fare.
What to know before booking
R12 is the base fare only. The final ticket price will be higher once statutory taxes and current fuel surcharges are added at checkout. Sale stock typically clears within minutes on the most popular routes between Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
