The Mari-Leen Bauermeister limited-edition collection has launched, with just five pieces available for pre-order until 21 August 2026.
South African fashion designer Mari-Leen Bauermeister is known for statement dressing and distinctive silhouettes, and has built a name for herself in the Southern African fashion industry over several years.
She launched Pattern Sewciety in 2018, followed by her own fashion label Mari-Leen Bauermeister in 2019.
Her designs have since appeared at Windhoek Fashion Week and have been worn by well-known South African personalities including Christi Panagio and Leandie du Randt. In 2022 Bauermeister was also nominated for Fashion Designer of the Year in Namibia.
Five pieces in the Mari-Leen Bauermeister limited-edition collection
The collection is made up of five items:
- The Chloe Wide Legged Trousers
- The Jade Georgette Shirt
- The Jade Satin Shirt
- The Signature White Shirt
- The Signature Floral Brooch
Each piece is being made in limited quantities and orders will only remain open until midnight on Friday 21 August 2026.
Why the ordering window matters
For shoppers drawn to independent South African fashion, statement silhouettes and clothing that is unlikely to be seen everywhere, the short ordering period is important. Once the limited pre-order window closes there is no indication that the collection will become part of a permanent range.
