SASSA Child Support Grant June 2026: payment date confirmed
The SASSA Child Support Grant June 2026 payment date is confirmed for Thursday, 4 June 2026 under the official 2026/27 SASSA payment schedule.
Payment amount
Following the April 2026 increase of R20, the Child Support Grant pays R580 per qualifying child per month. The Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant (for caregivers) and War Veterans Grant linked to a child are also paid on this date.
Where the date falls in the cycle
Children’s grants are the third in the monthly cycle. Older Persons grants are paid first on 2 June, Disability grants on 3 June, and all children’s grants on 4 June.
If your June 2026 payment is missing
Wait one to two business days for banking processing before reporting a missing payment. If the grant is still not paid, call SASSA on 0800 60 10 11, send a WhatsApp to 082 046 8553, or visit your nearest SASSA office with the child’s birth certificate and your South African ID.
