Western Cape regional office

Local Cape Town offices

Opening hours
Most SASSA offices in Cape Town are open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00. Offices close at 15:30 on the last working day of the month. They are closed on weekends and public holidays.
How to avoid long queues
- Avoid the first three working days of the month — these coincide with payment dates and pay-point activity.
- Arrive before 07:30 on busy days. Many people start queueing before sunrise.
