Sassa payment dates for June 2026: full schedule confirmed

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has confirmed the June 2026 social grant payment schedule, with payouts running from 2 to 4 June for Older Persons, Disability and Children’s grants.

June 2026 payment schedule

Older Persons grants will be paid on Tuesday, 2 June 2026. Disability grants follow on Wednesday, 3 June 2026. All other grants, including the Child Support Grant, Foster Child Grant, Care Dependency Grant and War Veterans Grant, will be paid from Thursday, 4 June 2026.

Funds remain on the Sassa card or Postbank account until withdrawn, so beneficiaries are not required to collect on the exact payment date.

Current grant amounts

Following the April 2026 increase, the Older Persons, Disability and Care Dependency grants pay R2 400 per month. The War Veterans Grant pays R2 420, the Foster Child Grant R1 290, and the Child Support Grant and Grant-in-Aid R580.
