Singer Chris Else has said goodbye to his sister, Simoné Else (1988–2026), who has died following a hard-fought battle with cancer. He says he held her hand when she took her last breath yesterday evening (Saturday).
"Your cancer battle was hard, the pain unbelievable … but your heart and soul believed. At 10:45 yesterday evening you took your last breath, I held your hand, the song you asked me to record for you I played for you. But we know you are now safe in Father's hand. Your heart was pure gold, your story is written to the last verse. We love you, my sister. RIP Simoné Else 1988 – 2026. You deserve the rest."
