WESTERN CAPE. – Three dogs were removed Friday evening from poor living conditions in Cape Town's city centre after law enforcement officials requested assistance from the Cape the Good Hope SPCA. The dogs were found in Long Street, where one was tied outside the vehicle and two were inside the vehicle.

He was then taken into custody. According to the SPCA, while already in handcuffs, he allegedly continued to incite the dogs and ran back to the vehicle.
The three dogs were eventually removed by the SPCA and taken away for further assessment and care. The SPCA also laid criminal charges under the Animal Protection Act 71 of 1962. The investigation into the man's conduct towards the law enforcement officers is being handled by the relevant authorities.
