Notice is hereby given that an application has been instituted in the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Local Division, Johannesburg, in terms of section 21(1) of the Matrimonial Property Act 88 of 1984.
The Applicants were married to each other in accordance with customary law at Alberton on 12 November 2022, with the handing over of the bride on 13 November 2022. The marriage is in community of property.
The Applicants seek an order authorising them to change their matrimonial property system from in community of property to out of community of property, excluding the accrual system, and to execute and register a postnuptial contract.
Any creditor or other interested person who has an objection to the granting of the order sought is required to lodge such objection, supported by affidavit, with the Registrar of the High Court, Gauteng Local Division, Johannesburg, and to serve a copy thereof on the Applicants’ attorneys within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date of publication of this notice.
