Owner of Wijnland Auto Museum Leslie Boshoff and wife of two years, Belinda Boshoff, is entangled in a legal battle following their marital dispute.
Mrs Boshoff appeared in the Cape Town High Court, on Monday, presenting a Rule 43 proposal. She was accompanied by her legal representative, Mr Khanyisa Lingani. Mr Boshoff was not present in court.
The couple, who got married on 7 October 2023, has been in a relationship since the end of 2016.
A Rule 43, (Rule 43 refers to a rule in the civil-/family-court rules that provides for interim relief while a divorce is pending) was brought before the court by Mrs Boshoff’s legal representative. In defence Mr Boshoff’s team argued that Mrs Boshoff is indeed financially stable and claimed that she was not truthful in her disclosure of her financial matters.
In defence to their argument Mr Lingani applied to the court to submit a second affidavit from Mrs Boshoff to clarify the discrepancies Mr Boshoff’s legal team has raised. This was opposed by Mr Boshoff’s legal team.
Extension was granted until Friday, 5 December 2025, to allow the court time evaluate the merits of the case and to decide whether the replying affidavit would be accepted into evidence.
Judgement is expected on Friday.
