SASSA SRD R370 approved but no money — what to do
If your SASSA SRD R370 approved but no money has reached your account, the most common reason is a timing issue at the end of the month, followed by a payment-method mismatch. The good news is that you almost never lose the money. It just gets delayed until SASSA’s verification clears.
Check your payment date first
SRD R370 payments are processed in rolling batches during the final week of each month. For June 2026, batches typically run from about 24 to 30 June. Approval does not automatically mean payment that same day. Log in at srd.sassa.gov.za and view your assigned pay date.
Check your payment method
SRD payments are made via bank deposit or a Cash Send code at a participating retailer. If your status shows Paid but no money arrived, check whether SASSA tried to pay to an outdated account or a phone number that has since changed. Banking details and phone-number mismatches are the two biggest causes of “approved but not paid”.
What to do
- Verify your bank account is active and registered to your ID.
- Confirm your registered phone number is still in use.
- If the status reads Paid but funds are missing after three business days, call the SASSA toll-free line on 0800 60 10 11.
- Visit your nearest SASSA office with your ID if the issue is not resolved within a week.
