Die Afrikaanse sangeres, Patricia Lewis, het ’n Facebook-plasing gemaak waarin sy haar seun, Max met sy 20ste verjaardag gelukwens.
’n Reeks foto’s van sy grootwordjare is saam met die inskrywing geplaas.
Sy noem hom “saggeaard en liefdevol” en is dankbaar vir al die vreugde en lag wat hy vir hulle deur die jare gebring het.
In die plasing sê sy dat sy en haar man, Mark, gister bekommerd was toe hulle vir 14 uur nie geweet het waar Max is nie. Hulle het selfs die polisie gekontak. Hy het hulle glo later heel “onskuldig” van ’n vriend se foon gebel en genoem dat hulle nie moet stres nie.

For 14 hours we were STRESSING!
But with much love, HUGE support and MANY prayers…
You innocently phoned from a friends phone, to say.. “Oh Mom… No, don’t worry, PLEASE!”
I CRIED… “OH THANK HEAVENS!!!
But I’ve already called the POLICE!”
We had the whole of STELLIES looking for YOU!
I was in such a state… I nearly turned BLUE!
As one mother said… “You can NEVER be too cautious, as our children are far too precious, to ignore the precarious!”
But YES… it’s now MY LESSON that I have to LISTEN… to ACTUALLY CUT THE CORD…!
Heaven knows I’m going to need my PRECIOUS LORD…
To help me get through what lies ahead…
As hopefully now I’m sure you will never forget… to ever again let that phone battery go DEAD!!
Or… we’ll continue to sit on your head!!
You’ll always be our only BABY…
Well, until at least when you’re 80!
Now and forever like ANY MOTHER…
I’ll try not to act too crazy!
