Dingo Dinkelman, openbare figuur en gewilde aanbieder vir Discovery en YouTube Wildlife-kanale, is onlangs deur ‘n groenmamba gepik. Hy is Saterdagaand met sy familie by hom oorlede na hy vir ongeveer ‘n maand in die intensiewesorgeenheid van ‘n hospitaal was.

Nuusflits het berig Dingo is laat September deur ‘n giftige groenmamba gepik, wat anafilaktiese skok veroorsaak het. Weens sy allergie vir teengifmiddel is hy in ‘n intensiewesorgeenheid opgeneem en dadelik aan ‘n ventilator in ‘n geïnduseerde koma geplaas. Sy vrou, Kirsty, het verduidelik Dingo word swaar gesedeer om sy liggaam hersteltyd te gee.
Kirsty het die publiek vir die ondersteuning en liefde wat hulle ontvang het, bedank. Sy het voorheen gesê Dingo is die taaiste, dapperste en sterkste man wat sy ken. “TJ, Maddy, Rex en ek is so dankbaar dat hy so hard baklei om by ons te bly. Ons bid en vertrou vir ‘n groot wonderwerk.”

Dingo was born in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa and was raised in a family where wildlife had center stage. Influenced at a young age by his Dad, who worked for the local Wildlife Authority, he had a natural instinct for working with animals, particularly those with a more difficult personality.
This passion and enthusiasm for wild animals grew as he got older.
