WES-KAAP. – Die polisie ondersoek ‘n moordsaak ná Sylvia Kirstein (70) se liggaam verlede Woensdag in die motorhuis van haar huis in Drommedarisstraat in Melkbsstrand aangetref is.
Sers. Wesley Twigg sê aan Nuusflits die Melkbosstrand-polisie ondersoek ‘n saak van moord en huisroof. Die omstandighede van Kirstein se dood word ondersoek. Dit is nie duidelik of items uit haar huis vermis word nie – dit vorm deel van die polisieondersoek.
Nog geen verdagtes is vir Kirstein se moord in hegtenis geneem nie. Enigiemand met relevante inligting word gevra om na vore te kom.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Mrs. Sylvia Kirstein, a dearly loved and respected member of the Riebie family for many years, until her retirement in 2016. Mrs. Kirstein will always be remembered for the wisdom she carried, the gentle yet powerful advice she gave, and the compassionate way she impacted the lives of those around her. She had a deep love for gardening – always tending with care to the school garden, just as she tended to her learners with patience and heart. A remarkable teacher, a great mentor, and a woman who lived with quiet dignity and purpose. She was held in the highest regard by her colleagues, learners, and parents alike. Her legacy of kindness, dedication, and wisdom will remain deeply rooted in the heart of VRS. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may the Lord bring comfort and strength to her loved ones during this time of loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
