How to check your SRD status
The safest place to confirm a result is the official SRD portal, where you enter your ID number and the phone number used in your application. SASSA also offers updates through its WhatsApp service and the Moya app. The portal shows whether an application is approved, pending or declined.
When SRD payments are made
Unlike permanent grants, SRD payments do not follow a single fixed date. SASSA processes them in rolling batches, usually in the final week of the month, so approved beneficiaries should confirm their individual date on the portal.
