KWAZULU-NATAL. – An 83-year-old woman was tied up and assaulted by two armed suspects during a home invasion on Friday afternoon in Westham, Phoenix.
KZN VIP Protection Services reported that they responded to an alarm activated by the injured and traumatized woman. She was treated for her injuries on the scene. The suspects allegedly struck her while demanding valuable items. According to the victim, she heard noises coming from the living room. She was confronted by two men dressed in black, tied up, and locked in a room. The suspects then ransacked the house and fled with an unknown number of valuable items.
