GAUTENG. – Peter Sean Kantor het Sondag op Facebook vertel hoe Pamela, sy vrou, deur ‘n privaat veiligheidsvoertuig omgery is. Hy sê dit is wonderbaarlik dat sy lewe, aangesien sy vir ‘n ruk onder die voertuig vasgekeer was. Vriende het intussen geskok op die plasing gereageer. Die Kantors wil hê die maatskappy moet aanspreeklikheid vir die voorval aanvaar.
Kantor voel dit was nie bloot net ‘n ongeluk nie en sê die beeldmateriaal wys ernstige nalatigheid. Volgens Kantor het die betrokke maatskappy glo slegs deur versekering en formele prosesse gereageer, sonder persoonlike aanspreeklikheid of berou. Sy vrou se trauma het ‘n groot impak op die gesin, aangesien sy steeds die voorval herleef.

Trigger Warning: I’ve spent the last 6 days trying to process what happened, and honestly, words still feel inadequate for the level of trauma we are navigating. My wife, Pamela, was mowed down by a private security vehicle. She was trapped under the chassis, and the driver proceeded to drive over her. Replaying those images is a cycle I cannot break. How she survived is a miracle I will never fully comprehend. This wasn’t a simple “accident.” The footage shows a level of negligence that is impossible to ignore. Since then, the security company has retreated behind their insurance and “process.” We’ve been offered “get-well” gifts and told to “claim from the Road Accident Fund.” There has been no personal outreach, no genuine remorse, and no acknowledgment that their driver almost took a life.
Daniel, Yakira, and Reuven almost lost their mother. I almost lost my wife. Behind closed doors, the aftermath is constant. Pamela wakes up every couple of hours -crying, confused, and reliving the moment she was under that vehicle. I sit there feeling completely helpless as the person I love tries to piece herself back together. This is not about a payout. It is about accountability. It is about a company standing up and admitting that their operational failure almost resulted in a fatality. We want our sense of safety back, but all we’ve been given is distance, bureaucratic “process,” and empty words.
My wife was lying under a car that drove over her… and somehow, we are being treated like just another case file.
