KIMBERLEY – Wildeklawer, one of the leading irrigation farms in SA, currently has a vacancy for the role of Industrial Engineer for its new generation carrot and beetroot packing facility, which uses artificial intelligence. The role will be based on the farm itself, close to Kimberley.
Engineer (Packing Facility: Carrot and Beetroot.)
The successful candidate will assume responsibility for:
- The planning and management of the grading, processing and packaging of carrots and beetroot;
- The optimization of artificial intelligence technology, personnel, equipment and processes to maximize profitability;
- The management of personnel ranging from middle management to operator level.
Candidates are expected to have:
- A degree in Industrial Engineering;
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role;
- Managed a team of people;
- Sound client interaction with different role players, like suppliers, external consultants etc.
