GAUTENG. – Mia Badenhorst, ‘n graad 10-leerling aan Hoërskool Kempton Park, het Sondagoggend in ‘n motorongeluk gesterf. Haar pa, Charl Badenhorst, het aanvanklik getuies gesoek wat die ongeluk gesien gebeur het. Hy het egter die plasing en video-opname daarvan intussen verwyder.
Die pa het Sondagoggend in ‘n plasing op sosiale media gesê enige ouer se ergste vrees het gebeur. “I have no words today any parents worst fear has happened she was loved beyond measure she was the light in the darkness she was caring loving and one of the strongest persons ever I was beyond proud to be your father and this is not right no parent should ever say goodbye to a child my beautiful daughter you were my everything you made me stand up and fight for a better live you have broken my heart my soul is dead and I will miss you and love you forever. Rest in peace my daughter and I will see you again when this is over where ever you are now know you were loved with no bounds and you will always be loved. Never forget. I love you my miekie muis”
Hoërskool Kempton Park het Mia se afsterwe op sosiale media aangekondig, waarna medelye ingestroom het.
