Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg (18) van Pretoria is by die Sun City Superbowl in die Pilanesberge van Noordwes as Mej. Wêreld-SA gekroon. Die skoonheid sal in Februarie 2025 aan die 72ste gesogte wêreldwye kompetisie deelneem.
Gedurende die vorige Mej. Wêreld-SA 2023-kompetisie was die donkerkop as naaswenner gekroon.
Nande Mabala, 26 jaar oud van Zwelethemba in die Wes-Kaap, is die 2024-naaswenner.
Romanda Hombi, 25 jaar oud, van Mpumalanga is as die tweede opvolger aangewys.

SUN CITY, PILANESBURG, 6 OCTOBER 2024 – Zoalize Jansen van Rensburg, 18, is Miss World South Africa 2024.
Zoalise, a digital and marketing executive at Scuderia, Ferrari South Africa, from Pretoria, will represent South Africa at the 72nd Miss World pageant in February 2025. The country and venue of the finals will be announced soon.
The 1st runner-up was Nande Maba.
Nande, 26, is a model, social and media entrepreneur from Cape Town, Western Cape,
Zoalise impressed the judges with her Beauty with a Purpose project, Never Too Young to Advocate (NTYTA), a digital platform that focuses on creating global visibility as well as audibility for the youth.
“Our organisation focuses on three essential pillars: educate, graduate, and advocate. I hope to use the power of social media to enrich our community with mental fortitude as well as self-encouragement. This is the key foundation needed to integrate our youth into positions of acknowledgment”.
The event was held at the Sun City Super Bowl, the same venue where several Miss World winners were crowned in the 1990s.
Zoalise, who last year was the 1st runner-up, works with various charities. “ One of our new partners is a non-profit called “Unchain our children,” which focuses on combating injustice in various cases, such as gender-based violence, rape, domestic abuse, welfare injustice, and human trafficking,’ she said.
“I believe that I have the qualities to bring back the 4th blue (Miss World) crown for and to South Africa. That crown is my biggest ambition because it is a vessel for change, and that in itself holds so much power,” Zoalise said.
