KWAZULU-NATAL. – Paramedici, noodpersoneel en ander noodsaaklike dienste is bedank vir wat hulle onder moeilike omstandighede professioneel en met meegevoel doen., nadat 11 mense Donderdag in ’n ongeluk in Isiphingo gesterf en sewe ernstig beseer is.
Garrith Jamieson van ALS Paramedics sê dat paramedici ’n moeilike werk het, met die verantwoordelikheid om in chaos kalm te bly en alles te gee vir ander. Jamieson betuig ook sy meegevoel aan die families van die oorledenes en erken die toewyding en menslikheid van die reddingspanne.

We are deeply saddened by the tragic accident today. We want to sincerely thank our team, along with all other emergency and essential services, who responded with professionalism, compassion and care under incredibly difficult circumstances.
This is not an easy job. Being a paramedic means carrying the weight of moments most people never see, showing up in chaos, offering calm and giving everything you have for others.
To everyone who tragically lost their lives today, rest in peace. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones affected.
